Maat is a BaFin-licensed investment firm pursuant to the German Investment Firm Act (WpIG). It is authorized to provide the following regulated financial services:

STATEMENT ON NON-CONSIDERATION OF ADVERSE IMPACTS ON SUSTAINABILITY FACTORS
pursuant to Article 4 paragraph 1 letter b) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR)
Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 ("Disclosure Regulation") requires Maat Investment Group GmbH with the legal entity identifier 254900PROKL0CMY7Y052 (“Maat”) pursuant to Article 4 paragraph 1 letter b) of the Disclosure Regulation to make a decision on whether the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors ("PAI"), as listed in Annex I of the Delegated Regulation 2022/1288 to the Disclosure Regulation, are taken into account.
Maat has decided that it does not consider PAI. Therefore, Maat is required to publish and maintain on its website a statement setting out the reasons for not considering PAI and information on whether and when Maat intends to consider PAI.
Rationale
This decision is based on the following factors:
1. Company Size
As a financial services undertaking with fewer than 500 employees, Maat is not required to consider adverse impacts on sustainability factors.
2.Investment Strategy
Maat pursues an investment strategy that prioritizes investments with high return potential. The systematic consideration of PAI would disproportionately impair Maat’s investment philosophy and the associated return objectives.
3. Resource Requirements
The comprehensive collection, assessment and reporting of adverse sustainability impacts would require considerable personnel and financial resources that would constitute a disproportionate burden for Maat.
Future Consideration of PAI
Maat will regularly review its decision not to consider PAI and will reassess its decision if necessary.
